These sisters (and binding figures in ebullic history) rebelled against their overlords and gained independence for their nations for a brief time. On Earth, they were expressed in Vietnam in the first century A.D.  It has been a long and contentious debate among Cordelian scholars about which of the sisters was a Cordelian. A minority opinion has been that they were both simultaneously Cordelians.
